indeed! so colorful & uninhibited…oh to be a child with a painted face
the combinations of color and the soft/shallow depth of field is sooo lovely!
The light is so soft yet brings the colors to life. I love this display of childhood freedom – if only I could walk around with paint on my face!
oh my…this. is. WONDERFUL. the perfect portrait. you infuse so much love and life and freedom into your work. i adore it.
Free to be herself. Love it.

Love that you captured Soliel’s smile and the butterfly in one shot, great job.
How sweet these are! Great job, Athena!
your color is amazing! the details of the butterfly and the color coordination of it all just sings. and there’s something captivating about that fourth one…leaves enough in and out for me to stop and think a little.
you are so amazing at creating a world, telling a story, even with one image. every one of these is so perfect, fresh, special, by itself, and then together as diptychs, they are such a complete picture. your colors and light are magnificent, and you are so creative. just fantastic.
these are so fun! I love the color and all the different compositions!
Oh, these are wonderful. I love the colors and the whole story of capturing and enjoying a butterfly. Fantastic.
Love your daughters hands and butterfly and then all the bokeh. Also I really love her through the net. They make up a great story.

Laurie Schultz - Beautiful work! Your color images always leave me speechless. The colors in the water are stunning!
Jennifer Capozzola - I love them both, but the color one feels like it is the opening scene to a movie! Or the front cover of a book. There is such a story there!
Carrie - Gorgeous senior portraits! Love the reflections!
pamela joye - i was taken aback by these on many levels; that second one leaves me utterly speechless in all its enigmatic glory. i’d love to see if you do more of these.
