Jen and Nate…. I love and adore you guys for many reasons. But today, I am grateful to you for reminding me how important it is to tell our loved ones just how much they mean to us. More and more, as each wedding comes and goes… and I discover the nuances of people and their families- of what it means for people to celebrate their love, of what it means to share that love with others….. I become more and more grateful. The opportunities I am given to peek into the lives of my couples is such a blessing, and I have such tremendous gratitude being asked to take part in it all. One of the greatest parts about what I do is that all these amazing people getting married from all over the world, who otherwise I may have never had the chance to know- they are now a part of my life forever, and THAT is sacred. Karen and Malcolm (who you may remember from their adorable engagement shoot) will always have a place in my heart…. During the toasts, Karen’s maid of honor told her that when she is around Karen, her laugh and smile are so contagious that she makes everyone in the room just want to have fun too. And it’s true, all guards down- with open arms to the world… no wonder Malcolm loves her the way he does. So thank you guys!!! It was such a magical day- I am so happy for you and the life you have ahead. Congratulations again and again and again!
I had such an amazing time documenting this crazy dance party! Still playing around with my iPhone and using some cool new experimental techniques during portraits too! Gotta keep it fresh… loving it.

So very excited to post these images! I had been looking forward to this wedding for a reaaallly long time. It was the kick- off to my 6 weddings in 4 weeks stretch- (nutty!) and it could NOT have been any more amazing and beautiful. I am still overflowing with excitement from this one…. not only because of the incredible venue and gorgeous city where it took place- but because of how beautiful this sweet couple is. They are so warm and open-hearted and generous. They keep their friends and loved ones close. They value family and time together- and their love for one another is made from something deep…. It’s often the most humble, down to earth, (and maybe a bit nervous) couples who end up allowing their love to shine the most bright. I had such a great evening roaming new territory with these two, and am SOOO excited about their wedding in October. Enjoy!
